Doctors Need Drug Data
In an article for the New York Times News Service, writer Barry Meier reports that doctors are having a difficult time assessing pain relievers with the recent Vioxx recall and the problems now associated with Celebrex, Bextra and Aleve.
"We are desperately in need of information," said Dr. Stephen Brenner, an internist in New Haven, Conn.
However, it seeems that for some, the information has been available. The Mayo Clinic, the federal Veterans Affairs Department and the Kaiser Permanente Health Plan all did reviews of available test data and as a result limited the use of Vioxx, Celebrex and Bextra. Reviews like this are called evidence-based reviews and are used to determine the real benefits and drawbacks of various drugs.
So, why aren't these reviews made available to all doctors . . .?

Really great blog! I noticed a mention about arthritis in the neck . I thought you might be interested to hear that both my parents and several of their friends have had problems with arthritis and we have been very lucky to have come across Bioflow. They are sold at arthritis in the neck and they have been worth every penny. They don't seem to work for everyone but they have helped reduce the pain in my parents arthritis so that they almost don't notice it any longer. They'd still be taking painkillers if it wasn't for wearing a Bioflow on their wrist

I never go to my doctor anymore asking for pain killers prescription and then be turned down at the end, all I do is order online from www.medsheaven.com hassle free and low cost, they have three pain killers listed on their website which are ultram tramadol celebrex that you buy, and the best part is no prescription required!!!
Medsheaven.com had changed their website to WWW.MEDSHEAVEN.NET you can order all medications you are looking for from their new site medsheaven.net , I highly recommend them.
